Gribaldi

Gribaldi was born in 1993 in the Trakehner studbook, son of Kostolany x Ibikus x Flugsand. He reached the Grand Prix together with his rider Edward Gal. Famous for producing the important stallion Totilas, he achieved the title of Preferent for the exceptional qualities and successes of his offspring.
He was bred by Marika Werner and descends from the “elite” mare Gondola II. He was purchased as a foal by stallion breeder Otto Langels and presented for Trakehner stallion approval in 1995, after which he was auctioned for 300,000 marks. He was purchased by Dutchmen Joop van Uytert and Rinus de Jong.
In the Netherlands, of Gribaldi’s 707 daughters, over 332 have obtained the “ster” title, while 16 of his sons have already been approved as stallions.
Totilas, Sisther de Jeu and Painted Black are among his most important descendants.
Jazz

Jazz (Cocktail x Ulster x Amor), born in 1991, was a stallion who had an unprecedented impact on international dressage horse breeding. Son of Cocktail and his dam Ulster, he dominated the WBFSH rankings for years, siring over 3,100 offspring, including several approved and recognised horses. His influence extends far beyond the borders of the Netherlands, with numerous modern stallions carrying his blood.
The maternal line also includes the important stallion Nimmerdor, known for siring Ulster, Jazz’s maternal grandfather.
Negro

On 5 March 1995, a horse was born that was destined to leave an indelible mark on the history of dressage: Negro. Bred by Wouter Borgers in Lunteren, the Netherlands, and initially known as Novabor, the bond between him and his breeder, who tragically passed away shortly before his birth, is evident. Black in colour and standing 168 cm tall, Negro stood out for his exceptional temperament and harmonious proportions.
Son of the stallion Olympic Ferro, Negro inherited the greatness of his sire, known for his extraordinary use of his hind legs. His dam Fewrie, with a successful pedigree, produced offspring that excelled in dressage. Despite initial difficulties in gaining approval, Negro found a new opportunity with Henk van Tuyl, who recognised his potential.
Under the guidance of rider Anne van Olst, Negro became a star, winning the Dutch Stallion Championship in 2000 and claiming the title of best Dutch six-year-old horse in 2001. His career culminated in his recognition as “stallion of the year” in 2017.
The true test of his greatness lies in his descendants, among whom Valegro stands out, capable of enchanting audiences. Negro’s legacy continues to thrive, testifying to the excellence he left behind in the equestrian world.
Di Maggio

Dimaggio, born in 1995 and world champion in 2000 in the five-year-old dressage category, is an exceptional Hanoverian known for his modern nobility and extraordinary gaits. Since 2013, his descendants have shone on the international stage. Half Moon Delphi, ridden by Michael Eilberg, won a bronze medal at the European Championships, while Headmore Delegate triumphed in the Grand Prix CDI.
His lineage is rich in success, with offspring such as Discovery OLD, who won bronze at the 2013 World Championships, and Del Magico, silver in Verden in 2014. Dimaggio has also sired highly valued foals, including FS Demirel and Diamo Gold OLD.
His roots lie in one of the most prestigious lines, with his sire, Don Primero, a Bundeschampion champion, and his maternal grandsire, World Cup I, a winner of numerous awards. In England, Dimaggio continued to shine, becoming champion of young horses and siring the British Warmblood Champion in 2003.
His legacy lives on, with foals continuing to win, making Dimaggio a pillar in the world of dressage.
Dancier

Born in 2002 out of DeNiro, his maternal grandfather was Lancier by Lauries Crusador XX. Dancier, a young stallion of exceptional talent, has already made his mark on dressage history thanks to his extraordinary successes in competition and breeding. He qualified twice for the National Championships in Warendorf, where he celebrated his first triumph, establishing himself as the authoritative winner of the performance test and earning stallion approval. In 2006, he was awarded the important title of best 4-year-old Hanoverian stallion, thanks in part to his performance that earned him the bronze medal at the Bundeschampionate and the title of reserve champion at the Hanover State Championships.
Son of De Niro, one of the most renowned progenitors in the world of dressage, Dancier continued to rack up successes, including victory in the Hamburg Derby Grand Prix and the title of Hanoverian Stallion of the Year in 2008. His pedigree is enriched by Damsire Lancier, a descendant of Laurie’s Crusador xx, who has achieved extraordinary recognition in the equestrian world.
Dancier’s potential as a breeding stallion has been consistently confirmed by high scores in the German FN breeding index, ranking him as one of the best for rideability. His offspring, including Danciero, Dschamilja, and Devonport, have proven themselves worthy of their father’s prestigious name, achieving excellent results in national and international competitions, including the German Championship.
In conclusion, Dancier not only shines in the sporting arena, but has also proven to have a significant impact on the Hanoverian breed, promising a bright future for the new generations of dressage horses.
