Jameson RS2 x Johnson x Variant
Proud James comes from the first generation of the stallion Jameson RS2, sired by Zack x Negro, and finished eighth at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses at five years of age and triumphed again in the seven-year rankings in 2021 under the guidance of Marieke van der Putten (NED); his mother Cyraniek is a daughter of Johnson x Variant, Johnson has been leading the WBFSH rankings of the world’s best dressage stallions since 2022.
Awards
At the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in 2024, he convincingly won the 4-year-old category, both in the qualifiers with 85.4% and in the final with 86.2%.

Proud James received a 9.0 for gait, trot, gallop, rideability and potential, and a dream score of 10 for gait and suppleness. Proud James was finally classified in the Danish Warmblood category in 2024 with the following impressive comments from the judges: “Proud James is a harmonious and attractive stallion of exceptionally good type and good format. He has a long, sloping shoulder and a well-formed, slightly short but very functional and flexible topline. He has a rhythmic, wide and energetic stride. The trot is flexible, powerful, with good shoulder freedom and action in the hind limbs. The gallop is incredibly well balanced, wide, with great freedom of shoulder and a good natural gait”.
