Chacoon Blue, a grey stallion born in 2009 out of Chacco-Blue and Cartoon, stands out for his top-level pedigree, which includes illustrious names such as Ramiro, Cor de la Bryère, Pilot, Contender and Caletto I. This extraordinary stallion has a light but well-structured build, characterised by an excellent gallop and remarkable jumping ability. His technique and use of his legs during equestrian performances are aspects that make him a prominent figure in the show jumping scene.
In 2014, at the age of five, Chacoon Blue successfully completed his 30-day test in Schlieckau, where he ranked among the three joint winners in jumping, achieving an exceptional final score of 9.40. In free jumping, thanks to his innate predisposition and character, he achieved the maximum score of 10.0.

Chacoon Blue’s sporting debut was marked by numerous victories and high-quality placings in A, L and M level show jumping classes. In 2015, he was an outstanding winner of the Dobrock show jumping championship, delivering convincing performances on every day of competition, and qualified as a finalist at the German National Championships for six-year-old show jumpers.
Chacoon Blue also tackled higher-level competitions with great ease, having already won S-level show jumping competitions and placed second in the S**-level seven-year-old young horse championship in Warendorf. His career as a breeding stallion began in 2016, when he produced a first generation of foals that were appreciated for their generous size, modern characters and high-quality gaits. In the same year, Chacoon Blue confirmed his status as one of the most widely used show jumping stallions in Germany.
Chacoon Blue’s sire: Chacco-Blue
Chacco-Blue, a renowned elite stallion, is the sire of Chacoon Blue and a prominent figure in the international equestrian world. Born from a cross between the Holsteiner Chambertin and a dam of noble blood, daughter of Contender and Godavari xx, Chacco-Blue has distinguished himself not only for his pedigree but also for his extraordinary sporting achievements.
The horse inherited his extraordinary talents from Cor de la Bryère, a progenitor of fundamental importance in the sector. His performances in high-level competitions have certainly established him as one of the best specimens in the world: he achieved a prestigious third place in the Aachen Grand Prix and triumphed in the Neumünster Grand Prix.

The true consecration of his career came in 2015, when the success of his offspring catapulted him into the top ten of the world’s best show jumping stallions. Since 2017, he has maintained his top position in the World Breeding Association (WBFSH) rankings, confirming the quality and effectiveness of his bloodline.
Chacco-Blue’s most successful offspring include numerous champions. One name that stands out is Explosion W, who won the Olympic title, individual silver and team bronze at the European Championships under the guidance of Britain’s Ben Maher. Other notable examples are Chanyon, who finished sixth at the Olympics with Daisuke Fukushima, and Chaqui Z, European team champion with Shane Sweetnam. In addition, Chacon, ridden by Eoin McMahon, achieved a commendable second place in the Nations Cup final.
It is therefore not surprising that, currently, around 55 of Chacco-Blue’s offspring have been approved, testifying not only to the stallion’s genetic excellence but also to his lasting impact on the world of equestrianism. His legacy lives on through the success of his foals, further cementing his reputation as one of the greatest stallions in history.
Cindina
Her dam Cindina, half-sister to Charity (by Caretano), and her descendants have left a significant mark on the equine world. Her half-sister Widouet (by Baloubet du Rouet) produced the famous Winbishi Coloudina (by Cafe au lait), a horse prized for her excellent qualities. On the other hand, Chaccodina (by Chacco-Blue) achieved significant results in 1.40 metre competitions and is the dam of Eurostar I (by Diarado), sold at the PSI auction and now registered in Australia, along with one of her descendants, who was registered in Mecklenburg in 2021.
The dam’s sire, Cartoon, a cross between Carthago and Mal Continue, demonstrated excellent show jumping ability. Despite relatively limited use for breeding, he produced numerous top international horses, including Cabanus (Emil Hallundbaek/DEN), Townhead Campus, Cancoon and Cargoldo, thus consolidating his prestigious name in the industry.
A premature farewell
Sadly, he passed away on 5 October 2025 at the age of just 16 due to complications following an episode of laminitis that arose after an operation for colic. Although the operation was successful, the complications that arose forced owner Paul Schockemohle to make the difficult decision to put him down.
