Born at Gestüt Gut Neuenhof, raised as an orphan, celebrated as reserve champion in his category and now with international successes in the advanced class: after a difficult start, Cashmere has had a meteoric career.

Cashmere’s racing career began in dressage. He demonstrated his good gait and rideability in the trials for young riding horses, placing himself in several top positions. He won his first trial for young show jumping horses. A year later, he also won his first middle-class show jumping trial for young horses. A few weeks later, he won silver at the Federal Championship for five-year-old show jumping horses in Warendorf with Marco Kutscher. It was also the champion rider who introduced Cashmere to international sport before the stallion moved to Bonhomme Stud, where Saskia and Robert Conredel continued his training and with whom he now collects prizes in the advanced class.

Cristallo I

With an incredible career that saw him jump up to 1.50 m, his path was also marked by an injury that interrupted his competitive activity. Under the guidance of Swedish coach Henrik von Eckermann, Cristallo achieved significant goals, ranking twice at the prestigious Bundeschampionat and participating successfully in the Youngster Tour and the international Medium Tour.

A Legacy of Success

Cristallo’s talents are not limited to her career; her lineage has continued to shine in the equestrian world. Cristallo’s daughter Cristalline made headlines at the age of eight, placing tenth in the 2016 World Cup Final in Gothenburg. But she didn’t stop there: in 2016, she placed fourth in Wellington and seventh in the Kentucky World Cup Qualifier, further adding to the family’s reputation.

The talents of his sons

In addition to Cristalline, Cristallo’s other offspring have also shown that they have the potential to become champions. Castello, for example, won the Grand Prix of Rastede. Other prestigious names such as Charmeur, Cristobar, Casablanca, Camira, Cristofin and Crystal Chloe are all offspring of the talented Cristallo, each of them promising in high-level show jumping. Cara Mia RCF, another of her daughters, has also made her mark, competing at the World Championships in Dressage for Young Horses in 2016.

Maternal Line: The Excellence of mother Novice

The maternal line is a fundamental aspect in evaluating the quality of a competition horse, since it transmits genetic characteristics that can influence performance in the sporting field. The dam Novice is an example of how a good line can generate extraordinary successes in the world of equestrianism.

Novice’s Progeny: Carento and His Successes

One of the most famous sons of the dam Novice is Carento, a licensed stallion who has had a significant impact on the industry. Carento is the sire of several successful horses, including Caressini, who won the title of Westphalian Young Horse Champion. These results demonstrate the importance of genetics and pedigree in the formation of competition horses.

Contender: The Pillar of the Maternal Line

Novice’s dam sire, Contender, has left an indelible mark on the equestrian world. Winner of the Adelheidsdorf stallion performance test in 1987 with an impressive jumping index of 146.6, Contender has proven that he possesses all the qualities needed to pass on his skills to his descendants. His dedication to quality has been rewarded with the prestigious Hauptprämie in Oldenburg.
